Volunteer Opportunities

We need all of our members to be involved with our many committee activities. It is a great way to get to know others in our chapter and support the mission of ALA. If you are interested in simply sharing a few hours of your time as your schedule permits, we have many community service and social event opportunities available.

Business Partner Relations Committee

The Business Partner Relations Committee promotes and maintains strong business partner relationships to enhance the services and benefits available to chapter members and strengthen the chapter's economic base. The Director of Business Partner Relations oversees committees and members responsible for the Business Partner Advisory Council, The Business Partner Program, Annual Partner-Administrator Dinner, Business Partner Buddy Program, Business Partner Showcase, Business Partner Social Events and the Golf Outing.

The purpose of the Education Committee is to present timely and pertinent educational sessions for the professional and personal development of our members. The committee is responsible for determining education topics of interest for our members, securing motivating and enlightening speakers and venues for all educational events and meetings. The committee is also responsible for the planning and hosting of the annual Holiday Party. The Holiday Party is an annual event held in December. The "party" is during the regular scheduled monthly meeting. There is no educational portion and members enjoy mingling and celebrating the season with their chapter friends.
